Jakarta - Bandung : Part 2

It was 27th June 2009, the second day in Jakarta. After the one hour and yet well accomplished shopping at Tanah Abang, we off to the Stasiun Gambir and reached the station at 1030, heading to Bandung, of what people say the shopping heaven. As we arrived early at the station, we took the time to pack the newly bought stuffs … which occupied half of the luggage.

The train to Bandung was scheduled for about 2 hours and 45 minutes. We took Agro Gede which cost only RM17 or Rupiah 50,000.00 per pax. Well air-conditioned train, just nice to warrant a jacket throughout the journey.

Pijot and I, on plain innocent look without knowing what to expect in Bandung…

As it was my very first trip to Bandung, I didn’t waste time to sleep in the train. I was so excited to see and wonder the views and God made landscapes all the way to Bandung, that was the advise by my friend.

And yes without doubt, the sceneries to Bandung are definitely not to be missed. From the beautiful paddy field to the old style houses and util you experience the highest level of the railway… you definitely gonna be amazed…

Jakarta - Bandung : Part 1

On 26th June 2009, together with Pijot and Effy we flew to KLIA before heading to Sokarno- Hatta International Airport, Jakarta. The plan was like a birthday treat for three of us, Pijot (10th June), Effy (3rd July) and yours truly; (30th June) conquering a new place which we never been.

As the H1N1 disease is the current world issue, we were bound to put on the mask, until I was mistaken at the airport, "embak, embak.. di sini kamarnya..." and I immediately opened my mask and replied; "maaf, bukan nya embak..."

We arrived at the airport SHIA at about 1730 hrs local time. From the airport we took a cab to the Ibis Tamarin Hotel at Jalan Wahid Hasyim. We however first stop at the Gambir Station to ensure we gonna have the train ticket heading to Bandung the next day. As it was weekend, couple with the fact that it was school holiday only one word that best to describe the whole scene; macet (jammed). Jammed on the road, even the people.

On the next day, as our train was scheduled at 1130, we decided to drop by at Tanah Abang to shop some textiles and gifts as early as 845 a.m. We were lucky as the people only started their business and people has yet to flood the place.

So many things offered at Tanah Abang for a very good price; damn good price. As a result, even for only 1 hour at Tanah Abang, I still ended up with 6 pieces of jubah in Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza design, 3 blouses with heavy beaded detailing, 3 kebaya full of embroideries and 2 pairs of glamorous laces. All at a good price and worth buying.

to be continued...

Another Sunday of mine

Yesterday was another interesting Sunday for me... In the morning I attended Wyn's big day at the Mega Hotel Ballroom..

Wyn being my fella ANTM (lalalala) was stunning and beautiful as always. The husband, all the way from Terengganu was handsomely groomed in red. To Wyn and Ajay, congrats and wishing both you a happy and prosperous marriage...

Later in the evening, I joined Maiza and the gang for a stroll by the beach, at Tanjung Lobang. The plan was first only ~ for drinks and rojak, until it later turned out to be a proper early dinner meal... we are talking about a plate of rice each, cuttlefish, crabs and cockles ...

the blame...: credit to Dollah (Maiza's brother) and the empty tummy... Dollah gave the look to the sista..

After all meals cleared up, then only we gotta chance to enjoy the beautiful sunset at the oldest beach hang-out spot in the city ;)

Figured Out...?!

Being figured out in front of peers by your very own friend, is certainly the last thing would come to your mind. Or perhaps, you never think of it to happen whenever u had finished and completed your degree, at the age of which you are wise enough to fake and bring it.

Come on…quick hi and smile will cause no harm… be it your bad day… A simple gesture that in fact will not costs you a single cent…

But when being being figured out for no obvious reasons despite of all things you have done, without doubt will only put your patient to its limit, better still at the very end of the limit. If that is so the case, one can only say; well, that’s it! I had enough!

Seriously, to have a 'Queen' to be totally ignored is clearly a BIG MISTAKE. It is a BIG NO-NO for someone that have tried to bear with you despite of all the critics and comments made about you. One may be a forgiving type, but never forget that someone also have feelings and pride.

Think again; after all the efforts rendered and yet in return that someone was left unattended …?! It is even rude when the attempt made to break the ice was replied by harsh tone. Yeah, we don’t live to please people, neither we want to be selfish… too bad, wrong approach only leads to major error.

Simply put, once broken considered sold… and perhaps eBay is a place where you can find the broken pieces… if you are lucky enough to find one.

Couple with the fact staying at the Golden Triangle, Bukit Bintang...

We even had the chance to catch up with Talentime by the talented director, Yasmin Ahmad. A great movie that is worth to watch...
